Listening: I've been listening to a lot of movie themes and bluegrass/country music lately. I wasn't very fond of country music for a long time, but I've really started to enjoy it more now.
Wearing: The weather has been so cold lately and it has been snowing a lot, so I've been frequenting sweaters and cozy socks lately. I love winter as long as I can stay warm!
Needing: Lately I've been really distracted with a lot of different things going on at the same time. I really am needing to sort out what needs to be done and stay focused on that.
Thinking: I'm back into writing again, finally! I'm working on a plot for a fiction book. I have a lot to plan and outline, so I'm thinking a lot about different things that I can do with that.
Enjoying: Like I said, I finally started writing again, and I am really enjoying it! It feels refreshing after not really doing it for years to sit down with a pencil and paper in hand and just dream up a whole story. I am using more structure and proper writing this time around, so hopefully it won't be as cheesy as my "books" that I wrote when I was little. :)
I've also been exploring the world of poetry, and I'm loving it! I have a bunch of poems that I want to memorize, and I've driven my family crazy with the constant dramatic recitations of "The Highwayman".
Thankful: I am realizing more and more how blessed beyond words I am by my friends. It really cheers me up to be able to always have someone to get encouragement in Christ from, or even when I just need a hug. I'm also really thankful also to be able to stay in touch with my long-distance friends. You guys really bless and encourage me more than you know. :) ♥
Learning: This year in school I'm studying Biology, and I'm learning about all these crazy Kingdoms and the organisms that make up life on the earth. It's a little scary but really cool at the same time. I must say, there is no way I'm going to make a good scientist though! My mind is numb by the time I'm done each day!
