Anyway, I'm hoping that with summer and the end of the school year coming up really soon, I will be able to post more frequently. (perhaps my twice a week resolution will actually come true! :p)
Now, without any further ado, I'm going to tell you what I've been up to lately! Enjoy! :)
-Finishing: I am so close to finishing Geometry! Unfortunately, I have not been extremely gifted with math related things, and this year has been a struggle with Geometry. I am definitely looking forward to the summer, and a fresh start next school year!
-Cleaning: You may remember from my May Resolutions that I wanted to clean out my huge stash of clothes and give away what I don't need and don't wear. I have finally started that process! Hopefully I will be able to finish it soon, but right now I'm having a hard time giving away some of them, because I really may need them some day, right? ;) It's coming along, though, and I'm very excited about it.
-Enjoying: Writing! I have finally gotten into the habit of working a little on my novel every day, and I am absolutely loving the writing process! It's my first time ever doing anything like this, so everything is pretty rough, but I know now that it certainly won't be the last time! For the most part, this has been a very relaxing project for me, and I'm really excited to see how all of my plotting and planning turns out in the end.
-Planning: Ah, the lovely world of cake decorating! I'm really excited about this opportunity to make a wedding cake. It's quite the challenge sometimes just figuring out what I need to fix or adjust with my recipes, but I'm extremely grateful for the ever-so-patient volunteers that are tasting my work. I am looking forward to when I finally have all of my planning and fine tuning done. I really want to this cake to be beautiful and delicious!
-Missing: My lovely friends in Ohio. I have been a little too sentimental lately, I think. I have so many awesome memories from growing up there, and I miss being a little kid. (am I the only one that gets really overwhelmed with being older? I never realized how fun being a naive little kid was until now! :p) I am really thankful for where God has me, however, and I am really looking forward to making even more amazing memories here.
-Thankful: I am so blessed by God's Word. I have been encouraged and convicted so much lately. It seems like every time I open my Bible, I find something new that I needed to hear at that moment in my life. (Isn't it so amazing how that happens?) I am continually amazed and humbled by the incredible love and grace of God! ♥
