February Resolutions | 2016

Hello, everyone! Sorry I'm so late posting my resolutions for this month...I'm working on coming up with a blogging schedule so I can keep track of and plan everything that I am posting.
I love setting goals, and lately I have been doing a lot of that in several areas of my life. This month I really want to work on forming habits out of the goals I am setting, and I'm really excited to see how much progress I make!
1. Read Anne of Avonlea
I'm sooo excited about this! Last month I read Anne of Green Gables as part of the 2016 Reading Challenge, and I just started Anne of Avonlea
I was really worried about how I was going to get the books, since I only had the first one, but a few days ago, we found the entire series at a thrift shop! (minus The Blythes are Quoted, which is proving hard to find) Anyways, that was something super exciting that I had to share. :)

 2. Try new recipes
I had a food blog with my friend a while back, but both of our lives got busy and we ended up not being able to find the time to blog anymore. I realized that having that blog pushed me to experiment with new recipes and really expand my abilities. Ever since we stopped, I haven't really been doing a lot in the kitchen, but I want to change that this month and start working more on baking and such.

3. Catch up on school
I fell behind a little over Christmas break, and I really want to catch back up and stay on track this month. Being a Junior in high school, I am sooo ready to be graduated, but I'm trying to keep myself motivated and consistent.

Recurring Resolutions:
 Write every day
Play music (of some sort) every day
Read every day

~What are your resolutions/goals for this month?~

  1. Catching up in school can be hard but, I am sure you can do it!!!! oh wow cooking more things is something I should do but my goals are a little different than yours. Okay that made no sense grammar wise. Its the morning and I am looking at blogs in stead of paying attention in class. #senioryear

  2. eeeep I love resolution posts! Because goals motivate me to make my own goals and meet them and YES this is just inspiring thank you. (And thank you for the button swap!! Is it too big?? If you don't like the way it looks, I can make you a smaller version. Just say the word!) You goals sound fabulous!! And I hope you meet them all and let me know how Anne of Avonlea is! (Also I hope you keep doing review posts for them because the last one was lovely.)

I don't have too many goals for this month. In a couple of weeks I'm going to release my next song (!!!) and start drafting a music video for it + figuring out how I'm actually going to film it and make it look cool. Recording the next song for the album. ALSO publishing a short story on Wattpad and writing another one that's been taking over my brain and throwing away my sleep. XD

    thanks for the inspo, Megan!

    1. Hi, Abbiee! Ohhhh I should tell you that I love reading your comments almost as much as I love reading your blog!! (yes, that was a complement.;)) I think your writing just sucks me into the land of word loving. :D
THANK YOU for the button swap! I think a smaller button would fit the design of my blog better, so I would love that! Thank you! :)
Oh, I'm definitely planning on reviewing Anne of Avonlea! I actually finished the book reeaaallly early on in February because I just couldn't get enough of it. ;) *Sheepish grins*
I am SOO excited to hear your new song! You have a beautiful voice! I'll be looking out for it!
Have fun with your stories!! I have been doing a good bit of writing lately, but it is for school and not as much of the fun stuff that I'd like to do. :D I really want to get into writing more short stories soon, though. :)
Thank you for commenting! Have a lovely day!
